Mindful Screen Use for Adults: A 10-Week Online Therapy Group

NEW YORK | VIRTUAL CARE | 10-WEEK THERAPY GROUP

Virtual Therapy for Technology Overuse | New York

Adults seated together for the 10-Week Mindful Screen Use virtual therapy group, NY.

Reclaim Your Attention. Break Automatic Screen Habits.

Are screens quietly consuming your day? Does the urge to check devices feel impossible to resist, even when you are actively trying to disconnect?

Technology overuse exists on a spectrum, ranging from deeply ingrained habits to compulsive loops and technology addiction. These behaviors are powerful and overwhelming, and can feel all-consuming.

They are often the direct result of navigating an aggressively engineered digital world designed to capture and monetize your constant engagement.

Wherever you are in navigating your technology use, the Mindful Screen Use Group offers a secure, structured virtual group space to pause, reflect, and align your daily routines with what truly matters to you.

The Role of Group Therapy

Individual therapy offers targeted personal work. Group therapy adds something different: it directly counters the isolation at the heart of technology overuse.

A structured therapeutic cohort gives you a supportive space to interrupt automatic habits and build a steady internal calm through real human connection.

Core Focus Areas

Designed exclusively for adults, this 10-week cohort offers a structured space to build rest, ease digital fatigue, and reset your daily routines:

  • Understand the why: Look clearly at the psychology behind compulsive screen use and how platforms are designed to hold your attention.
  • Break automatic habits: Interrupt the urge to check your phone and step away from reactive scrolling.
  • Reclaim your focus: Direct your time, attention, and energy back toward your real priorities.
  • Build lasting balance: Create a realistic, long-term framework for living intentionally in a connected world.

What This Cohort Is, and Is Not

This program is a structured therapeutic cohort providing education and practical, actionable tools to help you become more intentional about how you spend your time online. Rather than treating screens as the whole problem, we will explore and discuss what draws us to them.

Through discussion, gentle experiential exercises, and somatic practices to restore internal calm and rest, you will learn to unwind naturally, build your capacity to handle daily stress and quiet a hyper-stimulated mind.

This is not a passive support group or basic skills class. It is an active, professionally guided therapeutic space focused on meaningful habit change and internal calm.
